Bonneted Control
| Description | : | On display at the show was this early military prototype Land Rover called a Bonneted Control. It was similar to the Land Rover Forward Control in that it's main purpose was to act as a gun tractor, and like the forward control used huge 9.00 x 16 tyres. It's wheelbase is the same as the Range Rover, and Discovery, 100 inches which gives it excellent off-road capabilities as well as load capacity. I'd have one if they'd ever gone into production. |
