This is the off-road course at Gaydon, we're the ones in the Land Rover! It's a fairly large course with lots of steep slopes, mud, water, and all the things a Land Rover can take easily in it's stride. The driver made it look so easy driving mostly with one hand on the wheel, one on the gearstick, but I suppose the power steering helped. In the background of this picture you can see a large building which forms part of a new Rover factory, which I'm led to believe is where the new baby Land Rover, the Freelander is being produced. We saw a prototype Freelander driving along the main road that leads to Gaydon on the way in |
