Recently I went on a trip with several others to BMIHT at Gaydon. The Trust has hundreds of vehicles which show the history of the British Motor Industry. Among all the MG's, Mini's, and other famous British success stories are Land Rover.

This futuristic Land Rover is actually one of 32 Land Rovers constructed especially for the film Judge Dredd. The film makers concept was, that Land Rover was the only car manufacturer and car strong enough to survive in the film's apocalyptic future.
Land Rover based this vehicle on their military Forward Control Land Rover, a powerful 3.5 Litre V8 troop carrier, and replaced the normal body for this fibreglass one. Even the wheel trims are fibreglass on this Land Rover |
