Here is a old photograph I took when I was a child of my Grandfathers Range Rover (apologies for the quality of the picture) As you can see, my Range Rover Benson is nearly identical in every way to his Range Rover. His is a slightly later model, and I believe his had a vinyl interior, while Benson's interior has been changed from vinyl to cloth. Plus I've still to add extra driving lights to mine, like the pair of the front of his. I have the electrical switch and wiring already fitted, and I've managed to find some original lights, but I haven't had the time to fit the actual lights yet. As my mother has said upon more than one occasion, it's my grandfathers fault I suffer with this affliction/affection for Land Rovers. He owned a Series III Land Rover as well as the Range Rover, and because of him, I've been fascinated by Land Rover's ever since I was a small boy |
