Here's the Beetle I built for Rosey. It's still the original colour the bodyshell was painted when we bought the shell. We got the idea to build a Scalextric Beetle when we spied this Beetle bodyshell, which was just the right size for use with Scalextric in a model shop in a village near Maidstone. They specialise particulary in Scalextric, and other slot car racing accessories. I think Rosey is planning to paint the bodyshell eventually, so that she can race a small scale version of Bea |
