This is 'Bea the Beetle', or 'Bea Bea' to her friends. She's a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle that belongs to my wife Rosey. Bea has a smaller friend that also belongs to Rosey, it's a Scalextric Beetle that I made for her. Click on the link to find out more, including how I made it.

We've done a lot of work to Bea over the years, with two major projects in 1997 and 2001. In 1997 Bea was suffering from more rust than we expected and so began Bea's Partial Resto in 1997. However that wasn't the end to our restoration work.

In 2001 we decided it was time that Bea got a full resto and once again with the help of Kerry at Volkswagen Evolution and many friends from Bath Air Cooled VWOC we began the Restoration of Bea the Beetle 2001.
